Description
Aberyail Bridge, also known as Canal Bridge No 130, is a hump-backed bridge made of rubble sandstone, featuring a segmental arch and a low parapet. The arch consists of thin voussoirs and keystones, while the abutments curve outward on both sides. The parapet includes square end piers. On the south side, there is a cast iron plaque displaying the bridge number in relief. Additionally, on the east side of the deck, there is a lozenge-shaped cast iron plaque mounted on a post, which was erected by the Great Western Railway in the late 19th century and indicates weight restrictions for vehicles.
