Description

The barn at Llangwathan is likely from the 17th century and is primarily constructed of stone, with some areas still featuring timber framing. It has a corrugated iron roof and several 20th-century buildings attached to it. The northern part of the eastern wall is weatherboarded timber-framing, consisting of two heights of squarish panels that lack infill, positioned above a section of high stonework. Inside, the barn has four bays and a sturdy roof supported by braced tiebeams and upper struts, which includes reused timbers.
