Description

The War Memorial in the churchyard of St Ellyw is a granite Celtic cross featuring intricate interlace decoration. It has a battered base that displays the years "1914" and "1919" in raised letters, flanking carved Prince of Wales' feathers. Above this, there is an inscription dedicated to the men of the 4th Battalion, The Welsh Regiment. The memorial is set on three granite steps below.
