Description
The churchyard cross in the churchyard of St Ellyw is a 19th-century structure made of limestone ashlar, situated on earlier steps and a plinth that may date back to the medieval period. It stands on three rubble stone steps, leading up to a two-step plinth made of blue lias stone, which is significantly eroded. The cross itself is short and features a pedestal topped with a pyramidal cap. Above this is a short, tapering octagonal shaft with a moulded cap and a foliated ringed cross at the top.
