Description
Pant-y-llyn Limekilns is a double limekiln, with the right-hand section likely being the older part. It is constructed from squared but uncoursed limestone masonry and measures approximately 20 meters in overall width and about 8 meters in height. The front wall is curved and irregular, featuring a battered design. The right kiln has a segmental single arch at the front and another arch on the right side. The left kiln has a double opening with corbelled sides, topped with a flat stone covering both openings. There is a masonry pier between the two kilns that is corbelled out. At the top, there are two eroded holes, but the interior diameters of the kilns cannot be estimated.
