Description
Pant-y-garn Limekiln No. II is a single limekiln constructed from uncoursed limestone masonry. It measures approximately 8 meters in width and about 5 meters in height. The front wall is slightly bowed, with the sides returning at nearly 90 degrees, and there is a ramp wall at the rear. The kiln features two small working areas, each with a semicircular outer arch and a masonry pier between them. The openings above the working areas are roughly corbelled. The interior diameter of the kiln is not clearly visible.
