Description

Pont Glangwili is a road bridge that spans the Afon Gwili. It features a broad, shallow arch made of rubble stone, with cut stone voussoirs. Each spandrel has a small circular opening, also surrounded by cut stone voussoirs. There is a raised string course beneath the parapet, which ramps up to the center and is topped with grey limestone coping. Each abutment has a double raised pier that frames a large circular flood arch, again with stone voussoirs. The parapet above each pier is finished with pyramid coping stones.
