Description

Stepney House is an early 19th-century, two-storey house with a basement and three windows. It features a cement render over a rubble base and has gently pitched slate roofs with swept plain eaves and rendered stacks.

On the first floor, there are twelve-pane sash windows on either side of a central dummy window. The ground floor has similar sash windows flanking a central round-arched doorway. Above the doorway is a flat hood supported by thin pilasters. The entrance has deep panelled reveals and soffit, with a semi-circular fanlight above a six-panel door.

There is a shallow railed area in front of the house, and the basement windows are fitted with small-paned sliding sashes.
