Description
6 Old Priory Road is a terraced cottage located at the eastern end of a row of four. It features painted stucco cladding and an imitation slate roof with close eaves, complemented by 19th-century red brick chimney stacks—one to the right, one to the left of No 7, and one positioned between Nos 7a and 7b. The cottage is two stories high and has a single-window range on each floor, with a door situated in the adjacent bay. The late 19th-century windows are 4-pane horned sashes, with the upper window heads positioned under the eaves and the lower openings featuring slightly cambered heads. The doors have been renewed and are ledged with overlights. Nos 6 and 7 are designed as a mirrored pair, with their doors located in the middle, while Nos 7a and 7b are also mirrored but have their doors placed in the outer bays. There is a through arch between Nos 7 and 7a, which has an elliptical arch and a window above it.
