Description
7a Old Priory Road is a terrace cottage, the second from the eastern end of a row of four. It features painted stucco cladding and an imitation slate close-eaved gabled roof, complemented by 19th-century red brick stacks—one to the right, one to the left of No 7, and one positioned between Nos 7a and 7b. This two-storey cottage has a single-window range and a door located in the adjacent bay. The late 19th-century windows are four-pane horned sashes, with the upper window heads situated under the eaves and the lower openings having slightly cambered heads. The doors are renewed ledged doors with overlights. Nos 6 and 7 form a mirrored pair with their doors in the middle, while Nos 7a and 7b are also mirrored but have their doors located in the outer bays. There is a through arch between Nos 7 and 7a, featuring an elliptical arch and one window above.
