Description
Pantyfen Isaf is a two-storey farmhouse dating from the 19th century, featuring three windows and constructed of rubble stone with larger quoins and a slate roof. A distinctive feature is a large panel of slates set diagonally. The openings are offset to the right side and have stone segmental heads. The central boarded door is located within an added half-glazed porch. The lower storey has 12-pane horned sash windows, while the upper storey has 9-pane horned sash windows.
Attached to the left gable end is a lower single-storey bakehouse, which includes a boarded door that was moved from the right gable end of the main house, along with a 6-pane horned sash window to its left. The right gable end of the house features a segmental-headed doorway with a replaced door, positioned to the right of a brick lean-to that was roofless at the time of inspection. At the rear, where the ground level is higher, there are three 9-pane sash windows in the upper storey, a similar window in the lower right, and a replaced two-light casement that is offset from the centre. An added narrow external brick flue is located to the right of centre. The bakehouse has additional rear windows.
