Description

Ty Cerrig is a house located at the end of an informal terrace, built in the 19th century. It has two storeys and three bays, featuring a slate gabled roof and red brick chimneys on both the left and right, with the larger chimney on the right. The house has deep eaves and a painted stucco front, accented with long and short quoins on either side and a low plinth.

The windows are hornless 12-pane sashes, each adorned with vermiculated keys. The central entrance consists of a recessed fielded six-panel door set within arched panelled reveals, topped by a blocked barred fanlight. The doorcase is notable for its fine timberwork, featuring fluted Roman Doric half-columns with moulded capitals, entablature blocks, and an open pediment.

To the right of the main structure, there is a small lean-to, and the end wall is constructed of rubble stone with slate hanging. Additionally, there is slate hanging on the left return above the roofline of the adjacent property, No 40.
