Description
This is a large house located at the end of an informal terrace, featuring 3 or 4 bays and two storeys plus an attic. It has a slate gabled roof with deep swept eaves and large roughcast clad chimneys on both the left and right sides. The house includes three slate-hung gabled dormer windows with four panes each, adorned with bargeboards. The facade is painted roughcast above and stucco below, with long and short stucco quoins on either side, as well as a plinth and a sill band at the first floor level. The windows are twelve-pane hornless sashes throughout, each with keyed shouldered surrounds. The window bays are arranged with two to the left and one to the right of the central door. The entrance features a recessed four-panel door with a plain rectangular overlight, set in panelled reveals and surrounded by a frame with console brackets and a shelf cornice.
