Description
The Court House is a house in a terrace row, lower than the adjoining Nos 12-18. It has 3 bays and 3 storeys, topped with a slate gabled roof that has no chimneys and features a central gable above an enlarged upper window. The facade is painted stucco with long and short quoins on the left and right sides, as well as a plinth. The windows are renewed marginally glazed horned sashes throughout, with small square eaves windows on the left and right sides of the second floor that are not precisely aligned with those below. All other windows are taller and have vermiculated keys, while the ground floor windows are wider. The central door is slightly recessed and consists of 4 panels, with the lower panels being flush and the upper ones fielded. This door is set in a doorcase with wooden panelled pilasters and double brackets that support a cornice.
