Description
Ty Cornel, also known as Corner House and No 2 Corner House, is a two-storey building featuring unpainted roughcast with slate roofs and red brick end stacks. The structure has a three-window range, with gables above each upper window. It includes hornless 12-pane sash windows and lacks a central door. The gables are adorned with plain bargeboards. On the south side facing Ship Street, there is an 8-pane window on the ground floor to the left and a door to the right, framed by a plain surround and topped with a triangular slate hood supported by moulded corbels. The rear roof has a black brick ridge stack where it joins with No 2. No 2, which also faces Ship Street, is painted roughcast and has a two-storey design. It features a 20th-century door under a similar hood to the left and a one-window range of 12-pane hornless sashes to the right, along with a stone right end stack.
