Description
Dandderwen is a cottage with whitewashed earth walls and a corrugated iron roof. The west end wall was rebuilt in the later 20th century using brick and features a small brick stack. The cottage is one storey high and double-fronted, with the entrance offset to the right. There is a four-pane sash window on each side of the door, both with concrete sills. An attached short outbuilding to the east has a slate roof and a 20th-century metal window. A rear lean-to was added in the mid to later 20th century.
Inside, the kitchen has three rough hewn beams, and the fireplace wall has been rebuilt. There is a plank door leading to the east parlour, and the cottage does not have a loft.
