Description
The outbuilding at Pantgwyn Mawr is constructed from rubble stone and features a corrugated asbestos roof. It is a long structure with a lean-to on the left end and 20th-century outside stairs leading to a loft door on the right end. The loft door has a recessed head with cut slate voussoirs. The building has distinctive recessed heads to its openings, which are alternately whitened and also feature cut slate voussoirs. The lean-to includes a door on the front end wall.
The main range contains a stable on the left, with a window on each side of a door and two louvred loft openings above. The center section is windowless, while the right part has a door leading to the barn, followed by a cart-entry that features a broad elliptical arch with renewed double doors. This arch is centrally located beneath two square loft windows that have 20th-century glazing. The interior of the building is not available for inspection.
