Description
This is a lime-kiln located on the ridge east of Capel Horeb, facing west. It is one of two remaining limekilns built into the banks, with crucibles that can be accessed from paths above. The kiln features a curved front made of rubble stone, with a large semi-circular arch leading to the kiln-eye. The stone voussoirs are visible, and the kiln-eye stands about 3 meters high, curving inward and downward to the rear furnace. There is a projecting shelf situated just above the arch.
