Description
This is a lime-kiln facing south, located on a ridge east of Capel Horeb. It is one of two surviving limekilns built into the banks, with crucibles that can be accessed from paths above. The kiln features a curved front made of rubble stone, with a large semi-circular arch leading to the kiln-eye. The stone voussoirs are visible, and the kiln-eye stands approximately 3 meters high, curving in and down to the rear furnace. There is a projecting shelf just above the arch.
