Description

No 7 is a terrace house dating from the 19th century, featuring painted stucco and a low-pitched slate roof with a red brick chimney stack on the left. The house has deep eaves supported by paired deep brackets that are interrupted by window heads. It consists of two bays and two storeys. The first floor includes a drip course that steps over the windows, a sill band, a tripartite 2-2-2-pane sash window on the left, and a 2-pane hornless sash window on the right.

On the ground floor, there is a canted bay window on the left with 2-2-2-pane horned sashes, flanked by thin raised piers with console brackets, a banded frieze, and a deep cornice that projects forward over the piers. To the right, the doorcase features arched panels on the piers, console brackets, and a cornice. The entrance has a four-panel door with a rectangular overlight, and there is a steep flight of steps leading down to the pavement.

The low front garden wall is made of dressed stone and topped with cast iron coping and railings featuring interlocking ovals and finials. The gate posts are made of cast iron and are of baluster type with ball finials, and the gate itself matches the railings but has a pattern break at the lock rail. There are matching iron railings that step up to the right of the path leading to the front door.
