Description
The building is a former blast furnace with an attached structure. It has a square plan and features high battered walls made of rubble stone arranged in regular courses, with furnace arches located on the southwest and southeast sides. Attached to the southwest is the former casting shed, which has stone walls on the ground and first floors. The second floor is constructed of 20th-century brick and has 20th-century windows, topped with a 20th-century hipped roof that also covers the blast furnace. The second floor includes five windows, while the first floor has four windows and a loading door, all featuring concrete lintels and 20th-century windows. The ground floor has an arched doorway on the left with stone voussoirs, along with two windows and a door on the right, with the door positioned against the edge of the blast furnace.
