Description

Pencwm is a building dated 1744, although it was likely rebuilt in the early 19th century. It features colourwashed roughcast walls, a slate roof, and rendered stacks. The service range on the left side was raised to an even roofline in the 20th century. The front of the building is two stories high with three windows, which contain 4-pane sash windows with slate sills. The lower sashes have stucco hoodmoulds, and there is a central door from the 20th century beneath a stucco ogee hoodmould. A date plaque is positioned above the door. At the rear, there is a lean-to, and the left end and northwest rear wing were rebuilt in the 20th century.

The interior has been altered, with the roof obscured, but the ends of some hewn principal rafters are visible, along with some hewn timbers in the lean-to.
