Description
The Studio is a former lofted coach-house to Foley House, now functioning as a house. It is two storeys tall and has two bays, featuring a slate roof and a painted stucco front. The building has two renewed 6-pane loft windows situated above a very broad curved arch made of cut sandstone, which has a keystone dated 1794. This arch is set into the wall above a ground floor that includes an inserted square 6-pane shop window to the left and a renewed half-glazed door in the centre. To the right, there is a cambered-headed through-way arch against the side wall of No 12. A 20th-century addition has been made to the rear.
The interior has been altered during its conversion, but it is said to retain a brick vaulted cellar that runs parallel to the street.
