Description
10 Goat Street is an attached terraced house dating from the 18th century, featuring painted lined stucco and a slate roof with red brick end stacks. The building is three stories high with a four-bay front, adorned with wood ogee modillions at the flat eaves. The upper floors have renewed narrow horned sash windows with eight panes, while the ground floor includes three sash windows and a door positioned to the right of the right bay. This entrance is accessed by a flight of four painted stone steps, which are flanked by iron railings and a scrolled handrail. The original doorcase and door have been removed, replaced by a plain raised stucco frame and a recessed modern door with an overlight. The right end wall features three modern uPVC windows in the gable, and the rear of the house has a very large flat-roofed extension added in the mid to later 20th century. The property has not been inspected.
