Description

The Coach & Horses Inn is an early 19th-century building that stands two stories high and features two window bays. The exterior is whitewashed roughcast on rubble, with a black-painted 'plinth' at the base. It has a moderately pitched new slate roof that is hipped towards Sprint Gardens, and there is a rendered stack on the end wall. The eaves are plain and close.

The building has 12-pane sash windows positioned under the eaves, which are similar to those on the ground floor and include fittings for external shutters. The windows have small openings with plain reveals and slate sills. The central doorway is plain and rectangular, recessed with steps leading up from the street, and it features a panelled door.
