Description
Nyth y Dryw, also known as Wren's Nest, is a cottage constructed with white-painted render on rubble stone and features a slate roof. The building has a large square stone chimney stack on the right end and a small, renewed brick stack on the left. It is a small, single-storey structure with a facade that is slightly offset to the right. The cottage is double-fronted, with a 12-pane hornless sash window on each side of a boarded door, although the left sash is narrower than the right. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear.
Inside, the cottage has a two-room plan that is open to the roof, which is supported by four pegged collar trusses. The right end has a chimney breast with an oak lintel.
