Description
The Roman Catholic Church of Saint David and Saint Patrick is a stone rubble building featuring Bath stone dressings and slate roofs. It has a gable end and a gabled porch that faces the street, adorned with moulded bargeboards. The church includes a Bath stone bellcote with a single pointed opening and a cross-gabled top. The quoins are made of Bath stone, and the main window is flush with a pointed head, consisting of three lancet lights and three roundels above, supported by stone voussoirs.
The porch has a chamfered pointed doorway with double boarded doors that have ornate hinges, and a blind trefoiled roundel at the apex. There is a small single window on each side wall of the porch. The right side wall features lancet windows, while the left side is obscured. The nave end gable is decorated with bargeboards and a cross finial, and the shorter lower chancel is similarly styled.
Inside, the church consists of a nave and a small sanctuary, which is connected by a triple-shafted arch. There is also a rear gallery.
