Description
The building is a former coach-house and stables dating from 1850. It is constructed from rubble stone, with remnants of whitewash, and features corrugated asbestos roofs. The structure is L-shaped, consisting of a lofted main range and a single-storey range that is positioned at right angles to it.
The main range includes three loft openings: one blind opening on the left and two boarded openings, all with stone sills. Below these are two flat-headed coach entries, which have flat brick heads over timber lintels, with a thicker lintel on the left side. There is also a window on the extreme right with a brick head.
The range at right angles features two broad depressed arched entries; one leads to a throughway and the other to the coach-house, which has framed boarded double doors. A datestone indicating the year 1850 is located between these entries. The interior has not been inspected.
