Description

9 Paynter Street is a single-storey house that is part of a row of similar homes. The exterior is finished in painted stucco that mimics ashlar stone, and it has a slate roof with a close eave and a brick stack at the right end. On either side of the central rectangular doorway, there is a large plate glass horned sash window, all featuring quarter-round stopped mouldings around their edges. The door is a four-panel design with moulded borders on the upper panels and raised lower panels that have rebated corners, along with an overlight above. The windows have slate sills.
