Description
Castle Cenlas is an early 19th-century small country house. The front is rendered and unpainted, while the render has been removed and the stone is colourwashed on the sides and rear. The house features slate hipped roofs and a brick stack on the ridge of the rear wing.
The east-facing front has two storeys and three windows, consisting of 12-pane sashes, with a central door located in an added gabled, glazed porch. Inside, there is an inner six-panel door with a traceried fanlight. The north end of the front range has a 12-pane sash on each floor. The north-facing wing to the right has a two-window range of 12-pane sashes, followed by a smaller four-pane sash on each floor and a small attic window under the eaves. The west end is hipped, and there is an additional parallel rear range at the angle. A long 19th-century stair-light is also present.
