Description
2 Goat Street is a late 19th century semi-detached pair of houses built from rubble stone with slate roofs. No 2 had a grouted roof added in 1981 and both houses feature three stone stacks. They are two storeys high, with No 2 having a two-window range and No 4 a three-window range. While No 4 has been painted externally, the houses are otherwise similar, featuring sash windows with marginal glazing bars, slate sills, and cambered brick heads. The doors originally had overlights; however, No 2 has had its brick heads renewed, with a flat design for the upper windows and door, and now has a modern half-glazed door. No 4 has a central door with a cambered head, a half-glazed door, and a traceried overlight.
The front areas are enclosed by dwarf walls with patterned iron railings and gates.
