Description
4 Goat Street is a late 19th century semi-detached pair of houses built from rubble stone with slate roofs. No 2 had a grouted roof added in 1981 and both houses feature three stone stacks. They are two storeys high, with No 2 having a two-window range and No 4 a three-window range. No 4 has been painted on the outside, but otherwise, the houses are similar. They both have sash windows with marginal glazing bars, slate sills, and cambered brick heads, with doors that originally had overlights. No 2 has had its brick heads renewed, and the upper windows and door are flat, with a modern half-glazed door. No 4 features a central door with a cambered head and a half-glazed door with a traceried overlight.
The front areas are enclosed by dwarf walls with patterned iron railings and gates.
