Description
The War Memorial features a chamfered square-section shaft and arms of the cross, which enlarge towards the ends. At the center is a figure of Christ crucified, with the inscription "INRI" in raised letters on a scroll. The cross is set on an octagonal column topped with an enriched late Gothic moulding, and there is a small half-round moulding beneath the cap. Above an octagonal base, there is a half-round moulding and a hollow section.
The memorial is accessed by two large steps, which are octagonal in shape. The upper step has inscriptions on three faces, crafted in fine quality raised lettering. The lower step is designed as a seat, featuring a large rounded moulding along the top edge.
