Description
Ffynnonddofn Morfa is a small country house dated 1781, marked on the inglenook beam. It is constructed from coursed stone and features a slate roof with stone end wall stacks. The front facade is two storeys high and has three windows, each fitted with 4-pane sashes, slate sills, and recessed voussoirs with keystones. At the center, there is a broad pediment with a tripartite small-paned attic lunette. The eaves and gable have been simplified in the 20th century. The entrance features a central 6-panel door with fielded panels and a traceried overlight, which also has similar voussoirs and a keystone. There are two 20th-century dormers on the roof.
At the rear, the house has a central stair gable that includes a small sash window in the gable, a 12-pane stair-light, a 9-pane sash window on the first floor to the right, and a 4-pane sash window below.
Additionally, there is a modernised service range that was rebuilt in the 1930s, which has a two-window range of 4-pane sashes on its roughcast front. A mounting block is located to the north of the house.
