Description

Berriman Terrace is an early to mid 19th century pair of cottages constructed from rubble stone with slate roofs, featuring end stacks and a ridge stack. The northern end stack is made of stone, while the other two stacks are rendered. Each cottage is two storeys and double fronted, with four-pane sash windows on either side of a central door. The ground floor openings have recessed stone voussoirs with raised keystones, and the upper windows are supported by timber lintels under the eaves. The cottages have rough slate sills and outshut rears. Cottage No. 1 has a four-panel door with two flush panels, while Cottage No. 2 features a 20th-century half-glazed door and has a colourwashed front.

To the south of Cottage No. 2, there is a stone privy built into the bank, which includes a two-storey pigsty below and three privies above, serving Victoria Lodge and each cottage.
