Description
Berriman Terrace is an early to mid 19th century pair of cottages constructed from rubble stone with slate roofs, featuring end stacks and a ridge stack. The northern end stack is made of stone, while the other two stacks are rendered. Each cottage is two storeys high and double fronted, with four-pane sash windows on either side of a central door. The ground floor openings have recessed stone voussoirs with raised keystones, and timber lintels are present under the eaves of the upper windows. The cottages have rough slate sills and outshut rears. Number 1 has a four-panel door with two flush panels, while Number 2 features a 20th-century half-glazed door and has a colourwashed front.
To the south of Number 2, there is a stone privy built into the bank, which includes a two-storey pigsty below and three privies above, serving Victoria Lodge and each cottage.
