Description

The Harbour Master's Office is a small single-storey building dating from the 19th century. It features painted stucco and a slate hipped roof, with gutters supported by small rectangular corbels. The east side has three arched windows, while the south end has an arched doorway positioned to the left, which includes a single step up, and a small arched niche to the right. On the west side, there is a shallow canted bay window. On the north end wall, there is a barometer housed in a gabled ashlar case, inscribed with 'Presented by Charles Allen Esq 1861'. All windows and the door were renewed in the late 20th century.
