Description
Harbour House is a house built with painted stucco that mimics ashlar, topped with a slate roof behind parapets and hipped to the right, featuring a small rendered stack at the left end. It stands four storeys tall and has a three-window range with a plain parapet. The small-paned sash windows include square 9-pane sashes on both upper floors, suggesting that the top storey was added later, and 12-pane sashes on the lower floors. On the first floor to the left, there is a canted bay window with a leaded roof and 4-12-4-pane sashes. The central entrance features an open pedimented timber doorcase with thin columns, a 6-panel door, and a radiating-bar fanlight. The right end wall facing the castle approach has windows positioned to the right, including a small window on the first floor, a 9-pane window on the second floor, and a 4-pane window on the third floor. A rainwater head dated 1922 is also present. The rear wall of the house backs onto the end wall of St Catherine's House.
