Description

5 South Parade is an end-terrace house dating from the 19th century. It features painted stucco with a slate close-eaved roof and red brick end stacks. The house is two storeys high with slightly higher eaves compared to the adjacent houses at Nos 3 and 2. It has a double-fronted design, with two hornless 12-pane sash windows on each floor and a centrally located arched doorway. There is a raised plinth and a plain fanlight above the four-panelled door. The gutter is supported by small paired brackets. The right end wall is constructed of stone rubble, while the rear is slate-hung.
