Description
The Green is a large 19th-century town house divided into two sections, featuring slate roofs and stone end stacks. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window section on the right and a three-window canted bay on the left. The exterior is finished with white-painted rendered stone.
The right section includes 12-pane hornless sash windows and a central door located within a later 19th-century timber enclosed porch. This porch has half-glazed double doors, sidelights, and overlights, with a window on each side and a flat roof adorned with a cornice.
The left section features a hipped roof and painted quoins on the left side, along with a canted bay that has horned margin-glazed sashes on both floors, topped by an acute stuccoed gable with a blank roundel. The left side also has marginally-glazed horned sashes. All windows are fitted with black-painted slate sills.
