Description

The Women's Institute Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage featuring a slate roof and a large stone stack on the west side. It is a single-storey building with a long front that has three windows; the central window was originally a door. There is an additional doorway at the right end, which may have provided access to a removed byre. The walls are made of whitewashed rubble stone. The left and right windows are four-pane sashes, while the center window is a six-pane metal casement that replaced the original door. The interior has been altered and includes a small hallway leading to one large room with a modern fireplace at the west end.
