Description

The lime kiln at Llangrannog Beach is a very large circular structure made of rubblestone, dating from the mid-19th century. It is built into a bank and features one large kiln eye on the north side, which has a wide segmental arch. Another kiln eye is obscured by a 20th-century shed. The crucible of the kiln has been infilled. Additionally, there is a later 19th-century lime kiln, also very large and circular, built into the bank. This kiln has two large kiln eyes, both with wide segmental arches, and its crucible is similarly infilled.
