Description
This large hay barn, located to the east of the farmyard at Bodcoll, is constructed from coursed and dressed local stone rubble laid in narrow courses, topped with a slate roof that features overhanging verges. The barn faces the yard and has a near-central full-height cart entry, with tall vent slits on either side. The rear wall also has similar vent slits flanking a now partially blocked full-height doorway. The lower gable end contains vent slits and is open at the apex, supported by a short queen post truss that carries the roof. Inside, there is a large open space featuring four bolted collar trusses.
