Description

12 Queen Street is a late Georgian building featuring two storeys and a two-window front, with the structure at No 12 stepping up. The facades of Nos 8 to 14 are finished in cement render, with Nos 8 and 14 being colourwashed, while No 16 has a roughcast finish. The roofs are covered in slate and there are brick chimney stacks. No 8 includes a modern attic dormer, while Nos 12 and 14 have attic skylights. The windows are sash style with small panes, except for No 16. The doorcases at Nos 10 to 16 are classical with pilasters and cornices, while No 8 features a doorcase with a bracketed pediment. All doors are four-panel designs.
