Description

The Salvation Army Citadel is a classical building featuring a four-bay front made of roughcast with a gable end, topped with a pediment and an apex finial. It has rusticated quoins, a plinth, and an impost band, along with a slate roof. The front includes a bulls eye louvred attic opening adorned with moulded keystones. Below this, there is a deep band with modern lettering above semicircular-headed small pane sash windows, which also have keystones. These windows are flanked by similarly shaped entrances that feature modern doors. The interior has been modernised.
