Description
The Walled Garden at Plas Llangoedmor dates from the later 18th century and features walls constructed from rubble stone with rough stone coping, enclosing an L-shaped garden. The walls are tall on three sides but slope down at the southwest corner to form a terrace wall along the north side of the house. There is a doorway in the west wall, which has stone voussoirs and a six-panel door. Outbuildings, which are not included in the listing, are built against the outside of the north wall, and a gabled stone building faces into the garden from the east side. The garden is marked on the Tithe Map from 1838-1840, although it likely does not include the eastern part of the enclosure. It is also depicted in a watercolour of the house created before the front range was added in 1833.
