Description
59 Marine Terrace is a Victorian terrace that resembles the late Georgian Promenade. It is a four-storey building with a uniform two-window design, featuring stucco, roughcast, and cement render frontages. The ground floors are channelled, and there are plinths at the base. The building has slate roofs, stock brick chimney stacks, and wide bracket eaves. Most windows are horned sash types, with Nos 58 and 60 to 62 having ornamented architraves on the first floor, while No 57 has a plain architrave. No 59 has a modern window on the upper floors. Additionally, Nos 57 and 59 have later half-glazed porches, and there are some small pane sashes at the rear, which is constructed of rubble.
