Description

57 Marine Terrace is a Victorian terrace that resembles the late Georgian Promenade. It is a four-storey building with a two-window uniform facade made of stucco, roughcast, and cement render, featuring channelled ground floors and plinths. The roof is slate, and it has stock brick chimney stacks along with wide bracket eaves. The windows are mainly horned sash types, with Nos 58 and 60 to 62 featuring ornamented architraves on the first floor, while No 57 has a plain architrave. No 59 has a modern window on the upper floors. Additionally, Nos 57 and 59 have later half-glazed porches, and there are some small pane sashes at the rear, which is constructed of rubble.
