Coach-house and stables at Castell-du

The coach-house and stables at Castell-du are a 19th-century building constructed of rubble stone with a slate roof. The western end features a squared-stone bellcote with an arched opening and an eroded top. This long, two-storey structure has three square boarded 2-light loft lights under the eaves, with the left two being closer together.

On the ground floor, there is a shuttered two-light window to the left with a cambered head and stone voussoirs, positioned to the left of the loft window above. Next is a broad arched coach-entry, also with stone voussoirs, which is aligned with the window above it. To the right of the coach-entry is another window with stone voussoirs, which aligns with the window above. This window features an 8-pane top-light and is boarded below. At the rear, there is a low gabled tack-room with a stone stack at the north end and a shuttered 2-light window on the west side.

The building has an interesting layout, with the coach-house at the center and access to the stables from within. The left stable contains stalls for two horses, while the right has been converted into a loose-box. The stables have ledged doors and cobbled floors, and there are stairs leading to the loft from the back of the coach-house.
