Description

The Mount is a stone house dating from the 18th century, with an older stone wing to the left. The main house has a slate roof with flat boarded eaves, modern boarding to conceal the brackets, and stone end stacks. It is two storeys tall with a three-window front. The walls are of pointed rubble stone, with the right end being slate-hung. The windows are twelve-pane hornless sashes, larger on the ground floor, with stone voussoirs and painted sills. A doorway has a glazed door and overlight, set within a hipped, 20th-century enclosed porch. The left wing has a lower slate roof and a stone end stack on the left side. It is two storeys high with two small six-pane windows to the left and a modern glazed door to the right.
